Archivist's Notes |
This article was part of the research for the "Our School History" project. On May 31, 1949, voters approved the consolidation of Districts #2 Scotch, #4 Hosner, #5 Keego Harbor, and #6 Green to form School District #5 of the Township of West Bloomfield and City of Sylvan Lake, later shortened to West Bloomfield School District. The boundary of the school district was generally defined by the property lines of the farmers whose children attended each rural school. |
